I received a Nikon D5200 DSLR camera for Christmas in 2014 and started my journey into the world of photography. I am taking online photography classes, attending workshops and taking my camera out every weekend learning, experimenting and having fun. This has been a dream of mine for so long and I'm finally living it.

Peek-a-boo Woodpecker
Started my day out at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert before spending time with family for Thanksgiving. When I was leaving the Preserve I took this shot of a Gila Woodpecker.
